AI makes platform intermediation an obsolete cost layer

3eAI Labs builds open-source infrastructure for the post-platform economy. AI agents handle operations. Humans provide authority. The 15–30% that platforms extract stays in the productive economy.

Building what comes after platforms

Platform businesses solved a real problem: coordinating supply and demand at scale. Uber connected riders with drivers. Airbnb connected travelers with hosts. For this coordination service, they charged 15–30% of every transaction. That was a fair price for a real service.

AI changes this equation. Matching, pricing, scheduling, logistics, quality assessment — everything a platform does can now be performed by AI agents at near-zero marginal cost. The commission platforms charge is no longer the cost of coordination. It is economic friction without corresponding value.

3eAI Labs builds the open-source infrastructure that makes this transition possible — not as ideology, but as the natural next step enabled by technology.

Empathy

Technology shaped by the real needs of service providers and their customers, not by platform economics.

Ethics

Transparent algorithms, open-source code, verifiable operations. No black-box pricing, no hidden surcharges.

Aesthetics

Well-engineered systems that are a pleasure to use and integrate with. Precision in design, clarity in interfaces.

CDS — Community Driven Services

An open-source engine for the post-platform service economy. AI agents replace costly intermediaries. Human validators ensure quality and earn income. SMEs keep their revenue.

Platform Economy (2010–2025)

  • Centralized platform takes 15–30% of every transaction
  • Proprietary algorithms — providers can't see how pricing works
  • Platform owns all customer data and relationships
  • Service providers have no portability or independence
  • Winner-take-all dynamics create monopolies

Post-Platform Economy (2026–)

  • AI agents perform coordination at near-zero cost — 3–5% operational fee
  • Open-source algorithms — fully auditable, forkable, improvable
  • Service providers own their data, customers, and reputation
  • Open protocol — any provider can participate on equal terms
  • Network effects benefit the ecosystem, not a single corporation

Service Contract Engine

Code-enforced, legally valid service agreements. Define, execute, and verify contracts with automated compliance checking. EBSI-compatible verifiable credentials for tamper-proof evidence.

AI Agent Framework

Autonomous agents handle matching, pricing, scheduling, and logistics. They work for the service provider — not for a platform. Graduated autonomy with human oversight for high-value decisions.

Human Validation Protocol

Humans serve as digital notaries — verifying service quality, resolving disputes, providing trust. Every smartphone is a validation node. Validators earn income for verified contributions.

How CDS works

A complete cycle from service definition to settlement — AI handles operations, humans provide authority.

1

Service provider registers

An SME (moving company, restaurant, hotel) defines their service offering through a structured service contract. Identity verified via EBSI-compatible decentralized identifiers.

SME + System
2

AI agent finds the match

When a customer needs a service, AI agents analyze available providers, optimize for price, quality, location, and availability. Dynamic pricing based on real market conditions, not platform-imposed surcharges.

AI Agent
3

Service is executed

The service contract governs the transaction. AI agents coordinate logistics, scheduling, and communication. Both parties have full visibility into terms, pricing, and progress.

4

Human validator confirms

A human validator — a digital notary — reviews and confirms service completion. Quality verified, evidence recorded as a verifiable credential. The validator earns income for this contribution.

Human Validator
5

Settlement & value distribution

Payment flows directly to the service provider. A minimal operational fee (3–5%) covers infrastructure, AI compute, and validator rewards. No intermediary captures disproportionate value.

Try CDS for moving services

Our first deployment targets the moving & transport sector in Turkey. Service providers register, AI agents match demand, human validators ensure quality.

Open source by design

CDS is not open source as a marketing strategy. It is open source because the problem demands it. A system designed to replace proprietary platforms cannot itself be proprietary. Trust requires transparency. Transparency requires open code.

All CDS components are published under OSI-approved licenses. The Service Contract Specification is an open standard, designed to be extended by communities and adopted across service domains. Anyone can fork, modify, deploy, and operate their own instance.

Sustainability comes from operational efficiency, not from lock-in. A low service fee (3–5%) funds development and operations — similar to how Red Hat sustains Linux, or how Mozilla sustains Firefox.
